DMK working president and Kolathur Member of Legislative Assembly M.K. Stalin conducted an extensive inspection tour of his assembly constituency on the morning of June 30, 2017. Reviewing ongoing civic infrastructure projects aimed at addressing essential community needs, Stalin evaluated drainage works, road maintenance, and drinking water distribution networks across several residential wards. Following the field inspection, he distributed welfare assistance and educational materials to local citizens and school students.

The opposition leader interacted closely with constituency residents to hear their direct grievances regarding sanitation, street lighting, and civic amenities. Stalin noted that consistent grassroots engagement and attentive local representation remain the fundamental duties of an elected legislator.
