The opposition leader recalled Karunanidhi's historic tenure in the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly since 1957, noting that the veteran leader utilized parliamentary debate to establish transformative welfare programs and champion affirmative action. Stalin pointed out that Karunanidhi's legislative career exemplified democratic accountability, institutional respect, and unwavering dedication to the marginalized sections of society.
