DMK working president M.K. Stalin stated that the educator courageous sacrifice exemplified the deep anguish and conscientious resistance felt by teachers and citizens across Tamil Nadu following S. Anitha demise. He contrasted the teacher noble conviction with the abject moral surrender of the ruling AIADMK leadership, remarking that ministers lacked even a fraction of her civic dignity.

Stalin observed that dedicated teachers witnessed firsthand the relentless struggle of underprivileged children attempting to access professional education. When an educator willingly relinquished her livelihood to stand in solidarity with rural students, it served as an indictment of the state administration cowardly silence before the Union government. Instead of defending the legislative bills passed unanimously by the Tamil Nadu Assembly, state ministers acted as passive spectators.
