Tragically, the incumbent AIADMK administration completely surrendered regional sovereignty, meekly endorsing central diktats simply to safeguard its fragile political tenure in Fort St. George.

Stalin emphasized that genuine federalism formed the essential backbone of India's unity in diversity. Imposing centralized entrance examinations like NEET, dismantling fiscal autonomy through GST imbalances, and undermining linguistic pluralism directly violated the constitutional compact envisioned by the nation's founders. Previous Dravidian administrations under leaders like C.N. Annadurai and Kalaignar Karunanidhi vigorously defended state autonomy, creating nationwide awareness through historic commissions on Centre-State relations.

The DMK leader declared that restoring state rights remained the fundamental democratic duty of every progressive citizen. He pledged that the DMK would spearhead a non-violent political struggle across Tamil Nadu to defend federal principles and regional dignity.
