DMK working president M.K. Stalin visited Erode on March 16, 2018, to personally inspect comprehensive logistical arrangements for the massive DMK Zonal Conference scheduled for March 24 and 25. During his tour of the expansive conference grounds, Stalin inaugurated an extensive photographic exhibition chronicling the illustrious history, social justice milestones, and foundational struggles of the Dravidian movement. He spent considerable time walking through the gallery alongside visiting students, explaining pivotal historic events.
Stalin emphasized that the photographic archive offered young scholars and cadres an inspiring window into the DMK's historic efforts to eradicate social inequality, expand educational opportunities, and protect regional self-respect. He commended the organizational committee for crafting a vibrant, informative installation that effectively communicates the party's ideological heritage to contemporary generations.
The DMK leader reviewed stage construction, safety measures, water amenities, and seating logistics to ensure smooth coordination for the hundreds of thousands of participants expected across western Tamil Nadu.
