Stalin proclaimed five historic ideological slogans, known as the "Aimberum Muzhakkangal," for party cadres during his keynote address at the DMK Erode Zonal Conference on March 25, 2018. Stalin exhorted the assembled multitudes to adopt these five guiding principles as their core political compass: protect leader Kalaignar's directives as one's own eyes, advance the Tamil people while cherishing the Tamil language, shatter central concentration of power, eradicate religious fanaticism to safeguard humanism, and nurture a prosperous Tamil Nadu.
Stalin explained that these five commitments encapsulated the fundamental ethos of the Dravidian self-respect movement founded by Periyar and Anna. He emphasized that at a time when regional autonomy, secular democracy, and linguistic pride faced serious threats from communal and authoritarian forces, these principles provided the ideological clarity needed to guide the party forward.
The proclamation was greeted with thunderous applause and standing ovations from hundreds of thousands of delegates. Stalin urged every cadre to carry these messages to every household, affirming that adherence to these ideals would lead the DMK to decisive political, organizational, and social victories.
