#TNFight4Cauvery https://t.co/tGgw11tGAJ

DMK working president M.K. Stalin concluded the third day of the Cauvery Rights Retrieval Yatra on April 9, 2018, expressing deep gratitude for the tremendous public support received from farmers, workers, and village residents across the delta region. Stalin stated that the massive popular reception underscored the collective resolve of Tamil Nadu to defend its rightful share of Cauvery waters against central apathy.
Calling for decisive democratic resistance, Stalin urged citizens across the state to hoist black flags over their homes and wear black garments during the scheduled visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on April 12. He declared that flying black flags was a necessary democratic assertion against a central administration that had betrayed delta farmers by failing to implement the Supreme Court's verdict.
Stalin asserted that the Union government's legal delays were a deliberate assault on the livelihoods of millions of agriculturalists. He emphasized that the proposed black flag protest would serve as an unmistakable, dignified manifestation of Tamil Nadu's deep indignation, warning that public patience had reached its limit in the face of continued administrative injustice and continued constitutional neglect by the Centre.
