#TNFight4Cauvery https://t.co/KGFuMf1imO

DMK working president M.K. Stalin commenced the fourth day of the Cauvery Rights Retrieval Yatra on April 10, 2018, from Tiruvarur, the hallowed birthplace of DMK patriarch Kalaignar M. Karunanidhi. Stalin reflected on the historic significance of the soil, noting that Tiruvarur had historically served as the vibrant epicenter for anti-Hindi agitations and numerous historic struggles defending Tamil rights and language.
Addressing the gathering, Stalin expressed immense gratitude to the thousands of farmers, agricultural laborers, women, and local residents who turned out in large numbers to accord an inspiring, enthusiastic welcome to the foot march. He remarked that walking through the delta heartland reinforced his profound obligation to protect the agrarian lifeline of Tamil Nadu from deliberate administrative neglect.
Stalin asserted that the resolute spirit witnessed across Tiruvarur demonstrated that the people would never accept any compromise on their legal water entitlements. He reiterated that the DMK, drawing philosophical inspiration from Kalaignar's decades of public service, would relentlessly pursue the agitation until the Union government formally notified the Cauvery Management Board to safeguard the delta's agricultural future. He affirmed that delta farmers would never be left vulnerable.
