Historical Record
The DMK held its Third General Conference from 13 to 16 July 1961 at Thiruparankundram, near Madurai. Such conferences were the party's principal organisational gatherings, used to set policy and prepare for elections during its opposition years.
திமுக தனது மூன்றாவது பொது மாநாட்டை 1961 ஜூலை 13 முதல் 16 வரை மதுரைக்கு அருகில் உள்ள திருப்பரங்குன்றத்தில் நடத்தியது. இத்தகைய மாநாடுகள் கட்சியின் முக்கிய அமைப்பு ரீதியான கூட்டங்களாக இருந்தன; எதிர்க்கட்சி ஆண்டுகளில் கொள்கைகளை வகுக்கவும் தேர்தல்களுக்குத் தயாராகவும் இவை பயன்படுத்தப்பட்டன.
