Innuyir Kappom Accident Emergency Care Scheme

Launched on 18 November 2021, Innuyir Kappom — Nammai Kakkum 48 provides free emergency medical care to road-accident victims for the first 48 hours, regardless of where the accident occurs. Hundreds of government and private hospitals were linked to the scheme with a per-person treatment ceiling.
