Executive Summary
Singara Chennai 2.0 is an urban renewal programme launched by the DMK government after coming to power in 2021 to modernise Chennai and improve residents' quality of life. It funds clean-and-green works, water and sewerage connections, quality public toilets and litter-free streets, alongside cultural promotion. The Tamil Nadu Budget 2023-24 allocated Rs 500 crore for the programme.
சிங்கார சென்னை 2.0 என்பது சென்னையை நவீனப்படுத்தவும் குடிமக்களின் வாழ்க்கைத் தரத்தை மேம்படுத்தவும் திமுக அரசு 2021இல் பதவியேற்ற பிறகு தொடங்கிய நகர்ப்புற புத்துயிர்த் திட்டமாகும். தூய்மை-பசுமைப் பணிகள், குடிநீர் மற்றும் கழிவுநீர் இணைப்புகள், தரமான பொதுக் கழிப்பறைகள், குப்பையற்ற தெருக்கள் ஆகியவற்றுடன் கலாச்சார மேம்பாட்டுக்கும் இது நிதியளிக்கிறது. 2023-24 தமிழ்நாடு பட்ஜெட்டில் இத்திட்டத்திற்கு ரூ.500 கோடி ஒதுக்கப்பட்டது.
