On 5 March 2023, Chief Minister M. K. Stalin inaugurated the Keezhadi Heritage Museum in Sivaganga district, showcasing artefacts from the Keezhadi excavation, a Sangam-era urban settlement. The DMK has championed the Keezhadi excavations, carried out by the Tamil Nadu State Department of Archaeology, as evidence of an ancient Tamil civilisation.
5 மார்ச் 2023 அன்று, முதலமைச்சர் மு. க. ஸ்டாலின் சிவகங்கை மாவட்டத்தில் கீழடி பாரம்பரிய அருங்காட்சியகத்தைத் திறந்துவைத்தார்; சங்க கால நகர்ப்புற குடியிருப்பான கீழடி அகழாய்வின் தொல்பொருட்களை இது காட்சிப்படுத்துகிறது. பழந்தமிழ் நாகரிகத்தின் சான்றாக, தமிழ்நாடு மாநில தொல்லியல் துறையால் மேற்கொள்ளப்படும் கீழடி அகழாய்வுகளை திமுக ஆதரித்து வந்துள்ளது.
Significance
Keezhadi has become a politically significant cultural cause for the DMK, used to assert the antiquity and distinct identity of Tamil civilisation.
திமுகவைப் பொறுத்தவரை கீழடி அரசியல் ரீதியாக முக்கியமான ஒரு பண்பாட்டுக் காரணியாக மாறியுள்ளது; தமிழ் நாகரிகத்தின் தொன்மை மற்றும் தனித்துவ அடையாளத்தை வலியுறுத்தப் பயன்படுத்தப்படுகிறது.
