M. K. Stalin was sworn in as Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu on 7 May 2021 at Raj Bhavan, Chennai, along with his cabinet. It was his first term as Chief Minister, more than five decades after he entered public life as a youth-wing organiser.
மு. க. ஸ்டாலின் 7 மே 2021 அன்று சென்னை ராஜ்பவனில் தனது அமைச்சரவையுடன் தமிழ்நாடு முதலமைச்சராகப் பதவியேற்றார். இளைஞரணித் தலைவராக பொதுவாழ்வில் நுழைந்து ஐந்து தசாப்தங்களுக்குப் பிறகு இது அவரது முதல் முதலமைச்சர் பதவிக்காலம்.
Significance
Stalin's elevation completed his long political journey from his father's shadow to the chief ministership, and inaugurated a government term defined by an ambitious welfare and federalism agenda.
